Super Traction SafeTipTM Ease of Travel

Travel with a One-Piece Cane Shaft

“Blend-in-with-the-crowd” travelling with a standard cane, having a one-piece cane shaft and the Super Traction SafeTipTM, is easy. The tactical traction spike can be removed from  the cane and placed in a checked travel bag.

This leaves a rather benign-looking walking cane or crutch and attachment.  Due to the still-mounted connector body, the walking cane or crutch bottom end still has some “heft,” in case that feature is needed.

Travel with a Three-Piece Cane Shaft

When a Super Traction SafeTipTM attachment is installed on a three-piece take-apart cane, the entire setup can be folded up and placed in one's checked luggage, without detaching anything.  The tactical traction spike would be detached and placed in checked luggage.

Travel to Foreign Countries

Having a good solid cane with a Super Traction SafeTipTM attachment can be useful when traveling in foreign countries where roads, alleys and pathways are often sandy, grassy, muddy or mossy.

When crossing borders, the Super Traction SafeTipTM attachment can be demounted from the cane using an ordinary household screwdriver.  The tactical traction spike can then be placed in checked luggage for safe transport between countries by air, bus, or rail transport.

If the tactical traction spike is, for any reason, lost or confiscated, a replacement can be obtained for less than a dollar at almost any building supply store, anywhere in the world.

If need be, an ordinary large screwdriver may be usefully substituted for the tactical traction spike.  A screwdriver can be thought of as a "spare tire" fill-in for the standard traction spike.

The same screwdriver replacement traction spike can also be used to install and un-install the Super Traction SafeTipTM attachment body, on the user's walking cane or crutch.
